Yeh Rishta Kya kehlata Hai: Swati Chitnis enters the show!

New Delhi: Since Hina Khan aka Akshara has exit 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', many popular faces of Indian television has joined the daily soap. Now another TV actress who was missing from the small screen for long is ready to enter the show. Wondering who is she? Well, we are talking about  Swati Chitnis. The actress who rose to fame with Jasuben Jayantilal Joshi Ki Joint Family, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, and Laagi Tujhse Lagan will be seen next in one of the longest running Indian daily shows. Swati will portray the character of Karthik's (Mohsin Khan) grandmother who is very much fond of him. Reportedly, the actress has started shoot from Wednesday. Leading entertainment portal Tellychakkar quoted a source saying,"Dadi will be superstitious, dominating and will be health-conscious by nature. She will have a soft corner for her elder son Manish Goenka, and would dislike her daughter-in-law Swarna (Parul Chauhan). However, her love for her son Manish will force her to be pally with Swarna. Dadi will also be doting on her grand son Karthik.”
