‘My Son Has Become Protective Of His Sister’- Sameera Reddy OPENS UP On Her NEWBORN Baby Girl

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sameera Reddy and her husband Akshai Varde became parents to baby girl on Friday (July 12). Sameera, who embraced motherhood for the second time, is quite excited to welcome a little member into her lives. The beautiful actress had shared the first photo of her newborn daughter two days back on Instagram along with the caption, ‘’ Our little angel came this morning ????My Baby girl ! Thank you for all the love and blessings ❤️???????? #blessed.’’ Sameera can be seen holding her daughter’s tiny fingers in this picture.

Sameera, while talking to an entertainment portal, opened up about embracing motherhood for the second time and how her newborn baby looked like. "So, I was on an ad shoot on Thursday, and in fact my doctor had just checked me on Wednesday. I am at Women's Hospital in the able hands of Dr Gayatri Rao. She had said that we could go ahead with a C-section as it was required in my case and I should tell her when I would like to get it done. I said, 'Let's do it on Friday. As such, yesterday was Ekadashi- a very big, holy day," Sameera told SpotboyE. The ‘De Dana Dhan’ actress also revealed that her four-year-old son Hans Varde has become quite protective about his sister. She further said, "My husband clicked pictures in the labour room. He clicked his first selfie with our daughter."

When asked about her daughter’ name, Reddy said that they haven’t decided on the name yet.  She added that they will follow the Rashi system. Sameera was also asked about her newborn daughter and whom does she look alike. She told the portal, ‘’ Well, she hasn't come out dusky like me. She is fair and lovely.’’ The ‘Race’ actress enjoyed her pregnancy phase to the fullest and she kept on sharing pictures, flaunting her baby bump. She gave positive messages to all the mothers out there and grabbed eyeballs, all thanks to her underwater maternity shoot.

‘’I enjoyed my second pregnancy. I frequently sent out messages that the bump is not ugly but something that all pregnant ladies need to be proud of.
