CONFIRMED! Kartik Aryan to romance Sara Ali Khan in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2!

Ever since Sara Ali Khan declared on Karan Johar's popular chat show Koffee With Karan that she has a huge crush on Kartik Aaryan and in-fact confessed that she wants to date the actor, fans have been waiting for the duo to star in a movie together! And now it seems that the wait is over as reportedly, the duo is all set to star in filmmaker Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2 and the movie will take off in Delhi next week. It will also mark Imtiaz's reunion with Randeep Hooda. There have been rumours surfacing on the Internet that Kartik and Sara might star in an Imtiaz Ali film, however these reports were neither confirmed or denied by the stars. But now it is been confirmed that the film is finally happening. Unlike Imtiaz's previous two films 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' and Tamasha, which were set in foreign locations, this one will be largely shot in Punjab and Delhi. On Karan's Koffee show too, Kartik Aaryan was quizzed about the same and he also confirmed that he is doing Imtiaz Sir next film. He said that he is one of his favourite filmmakers and I have always wanted to work with him. I am glad it’s finally happening. Reports were abuzz that Saif will also be starring in the movie but the actor refuted the news and said, " I’m happy to sell my stake and not be a part of the film. It’s a business deal." Meanwhile, talking about the upcoming movie, the source also revealed Randeep’s role will be similar to that of Rishi Kapoor’s in Love Aaj Kal. The film will be co-produced by Imtiaz and Dinesh Vijan.. Sara was last seen in Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba' along with Ranveer Singh while Kartik Aaryan 'Lukka Chuppi' alongside Kriti Sanon released Friday.
