New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is known for her acting prowess, has turned a year older on March 23. The talented actress, who set the box office on fire with her last release ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’, is known for her fierce attitude. Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel shared a lovely throwback picture of the ‘Queen’ actress along with a heartfelt post. Rangoli shared the picture on Instagram and Twitter and wished the ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress a very happy birthday.

Kangana, who earned rave reviews for her performance as Rani Laxmibai in ‘Manikarnika’, will play Jayalalithaa in her biopic. The makers of the film made an official announcement of the same on Kangana’s birthday. The bilingual film has been titled ‘Jaya’ in Hindi and ‘Thalaivi’ in Tamil. The flick will be directed by AL Vijay, who has helmed films like ‘Madrasapattinam’ and ‘Deiva Thirumagal’. The ‘Gangster’ actress also has ‘Mental Hai Kya’ and ‘Panga’ in her kitty. ‘Mental Hai Kya’ co-starring Rajkummar Rao will release on May 24, 2019, while ‘Panga’ will hit the silver screens on Janaury 24, 2020.
