Aditya Roy Kapur-Disha Patani's 'Malang' goes on floors; Actor starts shoot with a pooja with director!

The shooting for director Mohit Suri's next romantic, action thriller "Malang" has begun. The movie marks actor Aditya Roy Kapur and Mohit's second collaboration. The duo had previously teamed up for the hit film Aashiqui 2 which starred Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead. A tweet: "Aaj se 'Malang'..." was posted on the film's official handle.

It will star veteran Anil Kapoor along with Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu and will release on February 14, 2020.

Aditya Roy Kapur too shared a picture on his Instagram account from the sets of Malang.He is seen along with director Mohit Suri as they both perform a pooja to kick-start the shooting of their film. Filmmaker Mohit Suri-Udita Goswami’s NEWBORN son Karrma’s FIRST PIC is here! Aditya captioned the picture as, 'On a new journey with the man that changed it all for me' referring to his breakthrough film Aashiqui 2 with the same director.

Most of the shooting in March is concentrated in Mauritius and Goa. The film is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, Luv Ranjan Films and Northern Lights Entertainment's Jay Shewakraman. Suri's last few hits included "Ek Villain" and "Aashiqui 2".
