Amid debate, Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh says 400 terrorists killed in Balakot strike

Singh said that while 40 of India's CRPF personnel were deceitfully killed by Pakistan, India's brave soldiers entered their land and returned after killing 400 terrorists.

New Delhi: As debate over the number of casualties in IAF strike boils, Union Minister of Agriculture Radha Mohan Singh further fuelled the controversy by stating that 400 terrorists had been killed in the Balakot strike. Singh said that while 40 of our CRPF personnel were deceitfully killed by Pakistan, our brave soldiers entered their land and returned after killing 400 terrorists. While enumerating the achievements of the Modi government, Singh said that there was once a time when our soldiers’ hands were tied if any terror attack took place, now Modi Ji has signalled a free-hand to the soldiers. “As a result of which, the brave soldiers of india entered into their home and killed 400 of their terrorists. Such an act can be done only byModi government.” Lauding Modi government, he also said that the government doesn’t work on the basis of caste, religion; nor does it work for any special section. It jist follows one motton , which is “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas” Two days ago, BJP Chief Amit Shah said 250 terrorists were killed in Balakot Strike, triggering a huge row. IAF has however not provided any number in this regard, stating that counting of casualties is not the work of the IAF. Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharama has said: “There is no relationship between the airstrike and elections. It was based upon intelligence inputs on terrorist activities in Pakistan, to be unleashed against India. It was not a military action.”
