NEET 2019: Re-exam announced for Karnataka students, exam date out for Odisha; Check schedule, admit cards soon at ntaneet.nic.in

The National Testing Agency will re-conduct NEET 2019 for candidates of Odisha on Monday, 20th May 2019, this month.

NEET 2019 Exam Date: The National Testing Agency will re-conduct NEET 2019 for candidates of Odisha on Monday, 20th May 2019, this month. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET) UG 2019, otherwise slated to be held on Sunday, 5th May 2019, was postponed in the eastern state of India subsequently due to the aftermath created by Cyclone Fani. Halting day to day movement, power supply and killing few people in the state of Odisha, the Cyclone has ruptured normal life. The examination centres allotted to candidates in Odisha will remain the same and the exam will be organized from 10 am to 1 pm on Monday, 20th May 2019. Announcing the Re-exam date for NEET UG 2019 for Odisha, MHRD Minister, Shri R. Subrahmanyam has tweeted that, “#NEET exam for Odisha will be held on 20th May @CMO_Odisha @HRDMinistry” On the other hand, the May 5 exam was missed by hundreds of students of North Karnataka after they were left stranded by Hampi Express. Students boarding train number 16591 of South Western Railways had reached Bengaluru at 2:30 pm, 7 hours late from its arrival time at 7 am, and 1 hour late than the last entry in the exam hall at 1:30 pm. Students seek PM Modi's help MHRD Minister, Shri Prakash Javadekar has just tweeted, “Happy to announce that #Karnataka Students who missed #NEET exam , due to railway delay will get another chance. @MoHFW_INDIA @HRDMinistry @PIB_India @MIB_India @DG_NTA @cbseindia29 @ciet_ncert @DDNewsLive @airnewsalerts @DVSBJP @CMofKarnataka” Candidates of Odisha and Karnataka who had registered for NEET 2019 and were affected either due to the Cyclone or Railway’s goof up, must keep an eye on the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA) for NEET 2019 – ntaneet.nic.in. NTA will be issuing fresh admit cards for these students and is likely to keep them posted via SMS/Email.
