Manipur Board 12th Result 2019 Declared at manresults.nic.in, 73.83% Pass; Micheal Atom, Laishram Librada toppers

Manipur Board 12th Result 2019 Declared: Science stream students have registered the highest pass percentage of 74.87%, followed by arts stream at 71.59%. For commerce stream only 66.62% students could clear the exams.

Manipur Board 12th Result 2019: The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) has declared the result of Manipur Board Class 12th i.e. Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) 2019 on its official website – manresults.nic.in. The overall pass percentage for 2019 stands at 73.83% for arts, science and commerce stream taken together, which is up by nearly 5% from last year’s 68.81%. The results were declared at COHSEM’s headquarters in Imphal by state education minister Th Radheshyam Singh. The results are also available on manipurcohsem.com. COHSEM had organized the Manipur Board Class 12th 2019 exams from 18th February 2019 to 20th March 2019 across the state of Manipur. A total of 28,649 students had appeared for the same, out of which 21,151 students are declared pass. The exams were organized for 42 subjects. Science stream students have registered the highest pass percentage of 74.87%, followed by arts stream at 71.59%. For commerce stream only 66.62% students could clear the exams. Micheal Atom and Laishram Librada Singh have jointly held the top position in the science stream by securing 476/500 marks. In Arts stream, Oinam Barlin Meitei bagged the top rank with 445/500 marks. Gurumayum Roberto Sharma topped the commerce stream by scoring 416/500 marks. COHSEM was founded under the Manipur Higher Secondary Act, 1992. Earlier, the +2 courses were under the purview of Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Manipur and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) exams were organized by BSE, Manipur for Higher Secondary Schools. On the other hand, Pre-University Courses (PUC) were governed by the Manipur university in colleges. After the formation of COHSEM, all these courses are controlled and promoted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur.
