'Yarri Dostii Shaadi' back to its knotty affairs with Season 3

New Delhi [India], Dec 17 (ANI): The Great Indian Wedding season is finally here. While most of the weddings in the country will go on as usual, a handful of those will be witnessed by the people all across the nation on none other than 'Yarri Dostii Shaadi - Season 3'.

For those who may not know about the series, 'YDS' is a series that documents weddings of selected couples. The show popularly travels across India to showcase rich traditions and unique Indian ways of getting married.

But this time, it is going to get challenging as the show travels small towns of the country to cover various marriage traditions of India.

When asked about the reason behind visiting some small towns of the country in the upcoming series, the hosts, Aalekh Kapoor and Devangi Nishar Parekh, said that this time the idea was to cover different flavours, and cultures of India.

In an e-mail conversation with ANI, Kapoor said, "The idea is to cover different flavours, cultures of India. With the popularity of the show increasing and the fact that it has been watched or heard of by a wider section of people across the country, more people have been applying. This includes lots of couples from small towns. As the anchor, I'm amazed by how fun and elegant small town weddings also are, it's such an insight!"

Aalekh also mentioned that these couples were as much fun as those from bigger cities.

Meanwhile, Devangi feels that it is not about the size of the city as it is about capturing beautiful love stories and the union of two families.

Citing an example, Devangi shared, "This year for example, we have a bride and groom who are getting married in Burhanpur, a historic city that was an important Mughal outpost under Emperor Shah Jahan, and the city in which Mumtaz died. The city is said to have a painting which inspired the Taj Mahal. What's more romantic than celebrating eternal love at a place like that!"

Both the hosts feel that the show is "bigger and grander" than the first two seasons and fans can expect a lot of interesting stuff for sure.

When asked, if they and their partner would have considered to get married through a show like 'YDS', they had some really interesting answers.

Devangi said, "Planning your trousseau as a bride can definitely be overwhelming. Having an expert advisor at your disposal to guide you and your fiance on what to wear helps take some of the pressure off, so you can relax and have a good time. That's a huge advantage the show offers."

Meanwhile, Aalekh noted, "I'm not sure if I would've taken the initiative to apply for the show, but if my partner would've been insistent or very excited about being on it, then as all 'to be obedient husbands', I would listen to her."

After hosting two seasons, Aalekh believes that that constant feeling of learning something new which is very exciting that compels him to come back to the show.
