Twitter suspends Trump's ally Roger Stone

Washington [USA], Oct 30 (ANI): Twitter has suspended the account of Roger Stone, a longtime ally and political confidante of U.S. President Donald Trump over a vulgar meltdown directed at some journalists.

According to CNN, the suspension came hours after Stone sent derogatory messages to CNN journalists Don Lemon, Ana Navarro and others.

In a Facebook post, Stone said that he was told he was under temporary suspension, but had learned from press accounts that Twitter is banning him permanently.

Meanwhile, Stone has also said he will sue Twitter for blocking his account, as per reports.

Stone has known Trump for decades and acted as an adviser during the early days of the Trump campaign. He has allegedly frequently used his platform to go after reporters and those critical of him and the President.

The Republican strategist has also been an aide to President Richard Nixon in the 1970. (ANI)
