Ankara [Turkey], Oct 29 (ANI): Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned the recent terrorist attack in Somali capital Mogadishu that claimed the lives of at least 13 people.

"We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist attack," the ministry said on its website, in a written statement, as quoted by Anadolu.

"We wish God's mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attack, convey our condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and wish speedy recovery to the wounded," it read, adding, "Turkey will continue to stand by the Somali people and its government in the fight against terrorism."

At least 13 people have been reportedly killed and more than 16 injured in two car bombings in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
