Truck blasts at Lahore's Band Road, at least 20 injured

New Delhi: At least 20 people were injured when an explosion occurred on Band Road in Lahore on Monday night. The blast also damaged the nearby buildings, its windows and the vehicles. Police and the rescue team has reached to the spot. However, the cause behind the blast is yet to be known. The reports, meanwhile, suggests that it was caused by explosives planted in the truck. In addition, the explosion has left a crater around seven feet deep at the site. The injured have been sent to the hospital. Women and children are also among the injured. Reportedly, police said that the blast destroyed the truck completely. They are suspecting that it was used to carry out explosion.
