Roadside mine blast kills two policemen in Afghanistan's Farah province

Kabul [Afghanistan], June 29 (ANI): At least two policemen were killed and two others injured in a roadside mine blast in Afghanistan's western Farah province.

Tolo News quoted spokesman for the provincial governor Iqbal Bahir as saying that the blast occurred in the Farah city after a police vehicle struck a roadside mine on Wednesday.

He said the injured policemen were taken to a nearby hospital in the city and currently they are in a stable condition.

According to reports, no group including the Taliban, has claimed responsibility for the blast. (ANI)
