New Delhi: Will Smith told CBS Sunday Morning on December 13, that he may be forced into running for the presidency if Donald Trump continues to make offensive comments about Muslims and the Mexican border.
"If people . . . keep saying all the crazy kind of stuff they've been saying on the news, lately, about walls and Muslims," the Hollywood star said, "they’re going to force me into the political arena."
Will was obviously referencing Donald, the current front-runner for the Republican presidential nominee, who since his announcement to run for President has called for a wall to be built between America and Mexico, and this week called for a blanket ban on all Muslims entering the country.
‘I gotta be the President. Come on!” Will added, saying: ‘What else would I run for?’
It's not for the first time Will discussed about his possible future in politics. He had talked about his political ambitions a few weeks ago too, saying at the Hollywood Reporter's Actor Roundtable that "there might be a future out there for me" in politics.
