SIT to probe J&K cop Ayub Pandit lynching case, five accused arrested
Srinagar: Two days after Deputy Superintendent of Police Muhammad Ayub Pandit was lynched to death by locals, a special investigation team (SIT) was formed on Saturday to expedite the probe into the incident. The cops have made three more arrests in the case. Earlier two people were nabbed by the police. "Three more persons have been arrested in this case taking the total number of arrests to five," the spokesman said.
