The government of India suspects that China is getting all the personal information through smartphones. Many Chinese products are sold in India and those may be a way to steal personal information. It is also suspected that the information is being forwarded to some other nation. This is why the government has asked 21 smartphone companies to submit report on such interference and security measures in phones by August 28.
