Doklam Stand-off: We will keep initiating talks with China to resolve issue, says MEA
In the press conference of MEA, spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said on US Department of State declaring Hizbul foreign terror group that the step is welcomed. He added that it reflects joint commitment of India and USA.
Speaking on the flood-hit Bihar, Raveesh said that talks with Nepal are on.
Raveesh Kumar did not say anything on Chinese propaganda video on Doklam issue. "I don't want to dignify this video with a comment," he said.
During the PC, MEA spokesperson also talked about Japan Envoy Kenji Hirramatsu's statement supporting India on Doklam, "Statement speaks for itself."
Continuing talking on China and India relations, MEA revealed that there was an incident of India-China scuffle in Pangong on 15th August which was later discussed by Army officers on both sides. The spokesperson also clarified that there was no stone pelting or use of rods during it.
