Congress puts forward Manish Mishra and Surahita Chaterjee Karim to contest in UP By-polls. Surahita is already state party spokesperson and Doctor in profession. She lost the mayor election in 2012. Opposition failed to bring a face together  for Gorakhpur agianst BJP.
