SUHANI SI EK LADKI: SHOCKING! Show to go OFF AIR in may

New Delhi: Last week the news of ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’ and ‘Jaana Na Dil Se Door’ to go off air was on rife. It was a big disappointment for the fans but there is no official confirmation of these shows going off air. Now, another popular show of Star Plus will go off air very soon and this is confirmed. After three successful years, TV show ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’ will say goodbye to the viewers. Show was started on the social issue of discrimination against dark skin girl. TV actress Rajshri Rani (Suhani) and Sahil Mehta (Yuvraj) played the lead roles in the serial and won million of hearts. After two generation leaps, makers have finally decided to wrap up the show. According to news in Tellychakkar.com, “Suhani Si Ek Ladki will air its last episode on 21 May.” A source revealed to the portal that, “There have been news reports of the lead Sahil quitting the daily but in actual, the show is wrapping up. The makers have already finalised the climax track with a happy ending, and the team has been duly informed about the same.” While confirming the news, Producer of the show Suzanna Ghai said, “Such decisions are the channel’s call. Suhani has been a special show and I am glad it was loved by all throughout; the numbers being the proof. It definitely made its mark in the evening slot and we are all proud of it.” The cast and crew of the show will shoot the last by the second week of May.
