Suchitra Pillai gets emotional after watching Taj Mahal

Mumbai: TV Actress Suchitra Pillai, who is seen as Sandhya Chauhan in the Colors TV family drama show "Ek Shringaar…Swabhimaan", got emotional when she visited the Taj Mahal along with her co-stars Sangeita Chauhan and Sahil Uppal. The cast of the show visited Agra on March 19 for promotions of the show. Later they decided to visit Taj Mahal. "The historical wonder, Taj Mahal was always on my bucket list. And I knew that my trip to Agra would be incomplete without visiting this monument of love. I feel that while running behind bigger things in life, we forget to admire smaller things that contribute to our happiness and something similar happened to me when I visited the Taj Mahal," Suchitra said in a statement. "I was absolutely spellbound and overwhelmed to see the visually spectacular Taj Mahal and I couldn't help but cry as soon as I saw its beauty and serenity. I would definitely love to go back there, study the marvellous structure and have a good time," she added. "Ek Shringaar…Swabhimaan", aired on Colors, traces the story of two daughters Meghna (Sangeita) and Naina (Ankita Sharma), who are willing to go to any extent to uphold their mother Sharda's (Prachee Shah Pandya) honour and self-respect.
