SANTOSHI MAA: Deepshikha Nagpal REPLACES Alka Kaushal

New Delhi:Few days ago we told you that TV actress Alka Kaushal who is known for her role in 'Qubool Hai'was sentenced to two years of imprisonment.Well, since the verdict, actress is untraceable.Because of all these unexpected turn of events, Alka Kaushal has been replaced from &TV's show 'Santoshi Maa'. Alka was playing the role of 'Kranti Maa' and now it will be played by popular actress Deepshikha Nagpal.According to news in TOI, "The actress has been untraceable since then. Meanwhile, the makers, who were trying to get in touch with Alka, have now signed on Deepshikha to play the part." Confirming the news to leading daily, actress said, "Yes, I am playing Kranti Maa. It's only during the look test that I realized that I'd been roped in as Alka's replacement. The production house told me that she had to be replaced owing to some personal crisis and that's when I went ahead." Deepshikha further said, "I have worked with Gracy Singh on a couple of films. So, it will be fun shooting with her again. It's an interesting and strong character. I am fortunate to be getting a variety of characters." Deepshikha Nagpal was last seen in Sony Entertainment Television's historical show, 'Peshwa Bajirao'.
