PESHWA BAJIRAO: Sauraabh joins the show but wife Anuja Sathe makes an EXIT

New Delhi: Sony Entertainment Television’s historical show ‘Peshwa Bajirao’ is about to take huge leap in the story. With major development, characters will change in the show. Now, Karan Suchak will portray the lead role of ‘Bajirao’. TV actress Anuja Sathe who played the role of Bajirao’s mother, is going to say goodbye to the show. Actress has been replaced by Rajeshwari Sachdev, who will now be seen in the role of Radha Bai. Anuja Although Anuja is leaving the show but her husband, Sauraabh will enter show post-leap and play role of ‘Chima ji’. Talking about this, he said , “Being a history lover and a Puneite, it's an honour to play Chimaji Appa. I'm a die-hard fan of the Peshwa history, especially Bajirao. They have contributed hugely in shaping the history of Maharashtra." Actor also said that he would have loved to work with her wife in the same show but there was no role for him before the leap. He further added, “We know each other's working style and there's also the added advantage of getting to spend more time together.” The role of Bajirao’s love interest and wife Kashi Bai will be played by TV actress Ishita Ganguly.
