MERI DURGA: Alisha Panwar OUT Srishti Jain IN for the LEAD ROLE

New Delhi: Star Plus show ‘Meri Durga’ is going to have major change in the show in the coming few weeks. As we told you earlier, that there will be huge leap in the serial and story will move to few years ahead. Few days ago, there were reports that TV actress Alisha Panwar will be the grown-up ‘Durga’ in the show. Actress has acted in ‘Qubool Hai’, ‘Jamai Raja’ and ‘Thapki Pyaar Ki’ but this time things didn’t go well with her. According to report in Tellybuzz.com, “With the latest development, Alisha Panwar backed out last minute and the makers have now finalised another actress to play the lead role. Srishty Jain rose to fame with Star Plus show ‘Suhani Si Ek Ladki’, playing the role of ‘Krishna’. Confirming the news to portal, actress said, “Yes I am playing Durga post leap." Meri Durga is a story of relationship of father and daughter. Actor Vicky Ahuja and Ananya Agarwal are playing the lead roles in the show but post leap, Ananya’s role of Durga will be played by Srishty now.
