Kapil Sharma admits he shouted at Sunil Grover: Checkout his reaction on Facebook
New Delhi: After reports of yelling and insulting colleague Sunil Grover created a furor, comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma on Monday sought to clear the air regarding the issue.
Recently, while returning from a tour to Melbourne and Sydney, Kapil walked up to him Sunil in the flight and allegedly started hurling abuses. According to a report, he held Sunil by his collar and raised his hand on Sunil. The actor, who plays Dr. Mashoor Gulati on the popular show did not retaliate and preferred to stay mum. Reports further suggested that Sunil has decided to quit the comedy show.
The actor was allegedly drunk and called Sunil names like ‘Tu Mera Naukar hai, Tera show flop tha...". The crew of his team had to intervene to pacify him.
In a Facebook post this morning, Kapil admitted that he did shout at Sunil and he would sit down and sort the issue with the latter. He also tried to downplay the magnitude of the incident that had got the social media talking.
Accepting the fracas and equating Sunil as a family member, Kapil said in the post that arguments do happen since they spend a lot of time together. He said that he loves, respects and treats Sunil as his ‘elder brother’.
