Kamya Punjabi gets emotional while shooting suicide scene, says it reminds her of Pratyusha Banerjee

New Delhi: TV actress Kamya Punjabi got emotional on the sets of 'Shakti', while filming an important sequence for the show. If reports of Saas Bahu Aur Saazish are to be believed, Kamya who portrays the role of 'Preeto' in the show found it difficult, while shooting a suicide scene, as it constantly reminded her of late friend and TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee. While talking about the scene, Kamya told an entertainment portal that she is a strong woman. But Pratyusha kept coming to her mind while she was shooting the suicide scene. Popular TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee, who shot into fame as Anandi in celebrated drama series “Balika Vadhu”, was found hanging from the ceiling on April 01, this year at her suburban residence. Reason for the extreme step was not yet known, but she was reportedly facing problems in her relationship with boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh. The 24-year-old actress was last seen in a role in another TV serial “Sasural Simar Ka” and had earlier participated in the fifth season of the reality dance show “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa”, “Bigg Boss 7” and hosted some episodes of “Savdhaan India”.
