C.I.D: No ACP Pradyuman in the show after Dec 26

New Delhi: Here comes a bad news for all CID fans! The show which has glued audience to their TV screens from last 17 years is ready to witness a major change in the upcoming episodes. Well, as per the reports of Saas Bahu aur Saazish, Shivaji Satam who portrays the lead character ACP Pradyuman will bid adieu to the longest running crime show of Indian Television.  His character will suffer a heart attack and following this he will die in C.I.D. The show will be aired on December 26th this year. But this report has created confusion among people as they believed that the actor died of a heart attack in real. Shivaji Satam was left disappointed with the rumours. Talking to a leading entertainment portal he said, “The rumour caused lot of trauma to people who know me. I got to know of it when my son told me. See, even if you write me off, it does not scare me. But what about the people who are close to me? You are playing with someone else’s emotions. I urge people not to write or report anything stupid as you are creating a lot of grief to those dependent on and close to the person you are writing about. I got calls from all who know me, from Sony TV, from Fireworks (Productions – which produces CID) and the news was really in bad taste.”
