BHABHIJI GHAR PAR HAIN: Shubhangi Atre to turn NEGATIVE in the show

Huge twist in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain

Mumbai: TV actress Shubhangi Atre, who is seen as the innocent and shy Angoori Bhabhi in popular comedy show "Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain" will be seen showcasing her evil avatar as Thakurain - a character inspired from actress Vidya Balan's role in 2007 film "Bhool Bhulaiyaa". "The role was extremely challenging for me as it was something I had never done before. My character had dialogues in Urdu which I had to learn. Also, the look is drastically different from that of Angoori's," Shubhangi said in a statement.

It is inspired from Vidya Balan's Manjulika look from 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'. Since in the sequence it is shown that the character has a royal past, I had to act like a Thakurian which was a little tough.
"Another challenge for me was to make my voice sound a little hoarse. My voice is very soft, but the character was very bold and strong. It sounds very different from how I do in real life. So, I had to practice for hours to get into the character," she added.
"Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain" is aired on &TV.
