Balika Vadhu to air its last episode on July 31

New Delhi: After making its way to Limca Book of Records, popular daily soap ‘Balika Vadhu’ is going off air. If reports are to be believed the show will air its last episode on July 31. Leading daily TOI quoted a source from the set saying, "We have been informed about the decision. The unit will shoot the last episode around July 22. The show has run its course and it will make no sense to drag it any further." Ruslan Mumtaz, who plays the male lead in the show said that it has not been announced yet. “ I was told that we would be informed at least two months before the show shuts. But if it is ending, then it is time to move on to another project, “ the actor told Times Of India. Mahhi Vij  who plays the protagonist Nandini said that she has not been informed about this. She said that it is unfortunate if 'Balika Vadhu' is coming to an end. Mahhi  also blamed the early evening time slots for show’s end. Longest running daily soap  of Indian television Balika Vadhu has completed eight years.
