Arjun Bijlani injured on 'Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa 9' set

Mumbai: Actor Arjun Bijlani, who will be seen as a contestant in the upcoming ninth season of "Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa", got injured while rehearsing on the set of the dance reality show. While practising for his performance, Arjun landed on his pelvic bone and got hurt. The doctors have advised him to take rest for a week. "No one wants to get injured by choice. While practising, I fell and got hurt," Arjun, best known for his roles in shows like "Left Right Left", "Miley Jab Hum Tum" and "Naagin", said in a statement. It's not just Arjun who had to visit a doctor. His choreographer Bhawna Khanduja, who fell ill earlier, had to be taken to a doctor as well. "Bhawna is one of the hardest working individuals I have seen. The girl is always on the go, coming up with new steps so that our performance can stand out from the rest. Recently she wasn't keeping well, but she still wanted to continue with the rehearsals," Arjun said. "It was a Herculean task for us to convince her to take some time off. Compared to me, Bhawna's determination to take home the 'Jhalak' trophy is much stronger. I just hope that I will be able to match her enthusiasm sufficiently through my performance," he added. Apart from Arjun, the Colors show will also feature actors Sidhanth Gupta, Shantanu Maheswari, Surveen Chawla, Karishma Tanna, Helly Shah and Shakti Arora.
