After Mohammad Nazim, TV actress Divyanka Tripathi SPEAKS on Sonu Nigam’s ‘azaan’ controversy

New Delhi: Telly town’s favourite ‘bahu’ Divyanka Tripathi has always been the one who does not mince her words on any issue. Actress has raised her voice many times on various social issues and controversies. As recently we told you that Saath Nibhana Saathiya lead actor Mohammad Nazim said that it is wrong on Sonu Nigam’s part to behave like this. Now after him, Divyanka Tripathi has broken her silence on Sonu Nigam’s ‘azaan’ controversy but she has different take on it. Divyanka said that moderation is the buzzword. She also said that it was a public issue and not a religious or communal one as it was projected to be. Actress took to twitter and wrote, “Moderation of speaker is important for all. Equal regulations needed for temples, mosques, gurudwaras & churches. #CivicIssue not #Religious” Divyanka has clearly taken Sonu’s side on this issue. All this controversy started when on Monday Sonu Nigam tweeted about ‘Forced religiousness’ after we was woken up to the sound of ‘azaan’. Divyanka is currently seen in Star Plus’ show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye 8’ with her husband Vivek Dahiya.
