Boston: Team India
cricketer Yuvraj Singh, currently undergoing chemotherapy in the United
States for a cancerous tumour between his lungs, on Thursday tweeted about
his health status. The cricketer wrote, “Second cycle has finished
today! Had a bleomycin shot feeling weak but I'm sure tom will be a better
day!”

Yuvraj is currently in Boston undergoing second cycle of
his chemotherapy for a rare form of germ cell cancer. Recently, former
India captain Anil Kumble and Bollywood actor and TV anchor Rannvijay
Singh had paid him a visit at his rehabilitation centre.

The news
is bound to dampen the spirits of Yuvi’s fans. After weeks of nail
biting worry, the left-hand cricketer had last tweeted that his tumour is
almost way out of his system.

"He had written, "Got very good
news from dr lawrence today! The tumor is almost way out of the system
Aftr reading my todays scan !Second cycle has started."

The news
had come as relief to everyone, especially after the cricketer had posted
a picture on Twitter that showed him without hair. Yuvraj had tweeted to
say, "finally the hair has gone! But #livstrong #yuvstrong". The left
hander had also tweeted that he was recovering well, and couldn't wait to
be back in his India colours.

Yuvraj's illness would keep him out
for another 10 weeks, as predicted by doctors.
