WATCH: Superb catch by England's David Willey against Sri Lanka

New Delhi: After pulling off a thrilling tie in the first ODI of the series, England thrashed visitors Sri Lanka at Birmingham in the second ODI of the series with a dominating 10 wicket win. Angelo Mathews’ side managed to post 254 – a fighting total – but England openers Alex Hales and Jason Roy joined hands for a brilliant 255-run partnership to give the hosts a 10-wicket win with 95 balls to spare. Earlier, England were particularly sharp on the field with Jason Roy affecting two crucial run outs. But it was David Willey, a fast bowler, whose effort caught everyone’s attention. On the first ball of the 35th bowled by Adil Rashid, Seekkuge Prasanna tried to play a big shot but the ball took the toe end of his bat and went up in the air. David Willey ran from long on while Alex Hales came from long-off and converged for the catch at the edge of the inner-circle. There was a bit of confusion between the two as to who would go for the catch. No one made a call for the catch. Willey, however, decided to go for it and displayed a stunning effort with a full length dive to take the catch. WATCH the superb catch:
