VIDEO: When Laxman got really furious at Ojha

New Delhi: It’s one of those rare occasions when an Indian cricketer has exhibited such rage against a teammate for faltering on the field. And it’s least expected from VVS Laxman who was on the verge of winning India a Test match against his preferred side Australia. He overcame his sore back to become the hero of a nail-biting one-wicket victory for India in Mohali. But one of the moments he & the world would always remember would be lambasting No. 11 batsman Pragyan Ojha on the other end for trying to take an unnecessary run. With India needing 6 runs to win, Laxman got angry at the careless running of Ojha and almost threw a bat at him. India won the cliff-hanger later on and like a gentleman Laxman apologised to Ojha for his outburst. Talking about the incident, he said: "It was nothing serious between us. It just happened. Come on, I wasn't going to hit him or anything. It was pressure and nothing else. I apologised to him later." Australia: 1st innings: 428 (Watson 126, Paine 92, Zaheer 5-94) 2nd innings: 192 (Watson 56, Ishant 3-34, Zaheer 3-43) by 1 wicket India 1st innings: 405 (Tendulkar 98, Raina 86, Johnson 5-64) 2nd innings: 216 for 9 (Laxman 73*, Hilfenhaus 4-57, Bollinger 3-32) Watch the video below:
