VIDEO: Rishabh Pant steals the show with brilliant cameo
Photo: BCCI New Delhi: Having won the toss, skipper Zaheer Khan decide to bat first against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi. Off to a blazing start after opting to bat, Sanju Samson and Sam Billings laid a solid platform for Delhi with a quick 53-run opening stand but after the two got dismissed, KKR bowlers led by Coulter-Nile dominated the middle overs to put a leash on the increasing run-rate. When 160 mark seemed as a distant dream, youngster Rishabh Pant stole the limelight as he fired 38 runs of just 16 deliveries to put give Delhi some runs to defend. The 19-year-old Pant smashed 26 runs off Umesh Yadav’s over which included 3 sixes and 2 fours. This is the most expensive over for Umesh Yadav in his IPL history. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE:
