NZ v SA 4th ODI: South Africa to bat first with an eye on series win
Photo: AP Hamilton: South Africa won the toss and chose to bat on Wednesday in the fourth one-day cricket international against New Zealand at Seddon Park. The Proteas lead the five-match series 2-1 after winning the first match by four wickets and the third by 159 runs while New Zealand won the second by six runs. New Zealand made three changes to its lineup for the match. Opening batsman Martin Guptill has recovered from a hamstring injury and replaces the out-of-form Tom Latham. Latham kept wicket in the first three matches of the series and his absence forces the recall of wicketkeeper Luke Ronchi who displaces Neil Broom. Off-spinner Jeetan Patel has been recalled in place of fast bowler Lockie Ferguson. Seddon Park hosted the first match of the series and the different pitch used for that match, which provided plenty of turn. South Africa made one change, naming fast bowler Chris Morris in place of Andile Phehlukwayo who has a slight knee injury. If South Africa wins it will end New Zealand's run of eight series victories at home in one-day internationals.
