New Delhi: Pakistan pace machine Mohammad Amir graced English County Championship for the first time and made a mark instantly for Essex during  the first pink ball game against Middlesex on Monday.

After Champions Trophy success with Pakistan, Amir continued his superb form with brilliant spell on his debut, giving his fans a chance to rejoice on the occasion of Eid. The 25-year-old grabbed his first wicket in his first over.

Sharing the new ball with James porter in the first innings, Amir trapped Nick Gubbins before the stumps on the last ball of his first over.

A beautiful in swinger hit straight on to the pads, leaving the batsman totally clueless and it took very little time for the umpire to rule him out.

Essex signed Amir soon after he helped Pakistan clinch their maiden Champions Trophy title by defeating India by 180 runs.
