Live Score IND v AUS 1st Test Day 3 Pune: India stare at defeat

10 wicket haul for O'Keefe #WICKET Steve O'Keefe to Ravichandran Ashwin, OUT! The decision is overturned and Steve O'Keefe has got his maiden 10-fer in Tests. What an outstanding feat from the spinner. Was brilliant in the first innings and has now continued that excellence in this one. He bowls it full on the stumps, Ashwin looks to play at it with bat and pad close together. It hits him but not sure what got hit first. The umpire doesn't respond to the lbw appeal and so Australia review it. Replays show it is pad first and Ashwin is caught dead plumb in front of the stumps. #WICKET Steve O'Keefe to Ajinkya Rahane, OUT! RAHANE IS GONE! That's a very soft dismissal really, Rahane should be disappointed with that. Nice amount of flight, tossed up outside off, it's slower through the air as Ajinkya Rahane leans ahead to drive. He's a bit too early into the shot and ends up playing uppishly. It lobs straight towards Nathan Lyon at extra cover who takes a good catch diving forward. India slip further. #WICKET Steve O'Keefe to Virat Kohli, OUT! Bowled 'em! Right through the gate! Steve O'Keefe has gotten the big fish! He bowls a loopy ball around off, it goes through with the arm, Kohli lunges forward and then for some reason doesn't play at it as he leaves it alone. The ball skids through to rattle the furniture behind. Kohli is stranded as he can't believe, Australia marching along. #WICKET Nathan Lyon to Lokesh Rahul, OUT! Now both the openers are back in the hut and so are both the reviews. And we're still in the 6th over! Unreal stuff. Lyon floats it outside off, it spins in sharply and keeps very low as well. Rahul moves across to flick it away but is undone by the low bounce and misses. Is caught on the pads and Australia instantly go up in an appeal. The umpire raises his finger and Rahul takes the review. Replays show the impact is the umpire's call and it's going on to hit the stumps. India in some early trouble here. #WICKET Steve O'Keefe to Murali Vijay, OUT! The decision stays as it is! Steve O'Keefe strikes in his first over! Steve floats it up around middle and off, it skids in a bit, Murali Vijay lunges forward to defend but misses the line and gets rapped on the pads. A loud appeal for an LBW and umpire Kettleborough raises his finger. Vijay walks towards Rahul and then takes the review. Replays show it was in line and would have gone on to clip the leg stump. So, umpire's call! India lose a review as well! 2nd Innings #WICKET Umesh Yadav to Nathan Lyon, OUT lbw b Umesh Yadav. Australia have lost their ninth wicket. #SIX Ravichandran Ashwin to Nathan Lyon, SIX! Tossed up around off, Lyon slog sweeps it over mid-wicket. Umesh Yadav out in the deep runs behind a little on his right and catches it, but it going across the rope because of the momentum. He tries to throw it back in but cannot do so. Maximum! #WICKET Ravichandran Ashwin to Mitchell Starc, OUT! In the air... taken! Ashwin once again tosses it up around off, Starc gets down on one knee to slog sweep it but doesn't get enough meat this time. The ball goes towards deep mid-wicket where KL Rahul comes running in and takes a good catch. Starc departs and Ashwin finally gets a wicket today. #WICKET Ravindra Jadeja to Steven Smith, OUT! The decision stays as it is! Smith has to walk back but not before playing a wonderful knock! A possible match-winning ton in every sense! Tossed up around off, it spins in sharply as Smith tries to swipe it across the line but misses and is hit on the pads right in front of the stumps. A loud appeal for LBW and the umpire raises his finger. Smith takes the review and replays show it was in line and would have gone on to crash the stumps. Smith walks back amidst loud cheers. Australia lead by 401! Also, this was Jadeja's 100th wicket in India. 18th Test century for Steven Smith! #WICKET 53.2 overs: Ravindra Jadeja to Mitchell Marsh, OUT! Edged and taken! Good take by Wriddhiman Saha behind the stumps. Jadeja bowls it on a fuller length around off, it turns a bit as Mitchell Marsh presses forward to block. It takes a faint edge as the keeper behind collects it nicely in his gloves. Beautiful delivery, early breakthrough for India. Australia lead by 324 runs. 46.3 overs: Ravichandran Ashwin to Steven Smith, NOT OUT! Floats it up around off, Smith looks to glide it towards backward point but gets it off the outer part of the bat. Steven wants to come back for second as Jayant Yadav fires in a throw at the striker's end. Saha collects the ball and whips the bails off as Smith dives to get back in. They appeal for a run out and it's taken upstairs. Replays show the Aussie skipper has made it in, a couple of runs taken. Right... All set to get things rolling. Steven Smith and Mitchell Marsh stride out to the middle with the intent of building up their lead even more. Ravichandran Ashwin will fire away with the ball first up. Here we go... Pitch Report - Shane Warne says the cracks are starting to open up. Sunil Gavaskar adds that it will make the batting a bit more difficult. Continues saying it's like a dust bowl and that the bowlers should bowl on a back of a length, more of where Josh Hazlewood frequently bowls. Warne ends by saying that today will be an excellent day of Test cricket and India will fightback hard for sure. Hello and a warm welcome for the day 3 of this Test match between India and Australia. The Aussies are bossing the game at the moment after bundling out India cheaply yesterday, and now have swelled their lead to 298. Captain Smith has registered his fifty and come this day, would look to add quick runs before handing the willow to the hosts. The pitch is going to deteriorate further and batting last on this wicket is never going to be easy. Can the Indians fightback or will Australia continue to strengthen their position in this Test? Let's see how the day unfolds.
