Jadeja wants to have lunch with Wade after Australia lose

Jadeja wants to have lunch with Wade after Australia losePhoto: BCCI New Delhi: The third morning of the deciding Test belonged to Jadeja’s creamy white bat. He maintained the upward curve of his batting by scoring a fighting 63 to ensure India a crucial 32 run lead. By evening he was tormenting the Aussies with the red cherry. Jadeja the all-rounder shone with both bat and ball and if there was anything left, he completed that with his witty response to Matthew Wade’s constant chirping.  Jadeja’s mature way of handling the ‘sledge’ hammer came as a refreshing change on a series which has been marred with an eye for an eye ideology. On Monday Jadeja asked Australian wicketkeeper Mathew Wade to have dinner with him once the Aussies lose to India in the fourth Test. The Australian wicket-keeper was constantly sharing his words of wisdom from behind the stumps when Jadeja was trying to douse the fire emitting from Cummins, Hazlewood and Lyon. Not knowing that he would be at the receiving end as early as the post-tea session. "We all know what happens. I just told him, once you lose and are free, we will have dinner together," Jadeja said tongue-in-cheek. The duo were involved in intense sledging while Wade was batting. Wade remained 25 not out at stumps as the Aussies crumbled to 137 all out. India require another 87 runs for victory after they were 19/0 after batting for six overs in the second innings.
