Indian women pugilists bag three gold medals in Serbia

Sombor [Serbia], Jan. 15 (ANI): Indian women pugilists continued their dominating run on the world stage as they clinched three gold and one bronze medal in the 7th Nations Cup, here on Monday.

Jony breezed past Hungary's Viktoria Matesz in the final bout of 60 kg category while Lalita (64kg) outclassed a valiant Karina Kuzheleva of Russia to punch their way to gold.

The third gold came India's way through Nandini in the 81kg category as she beat Alesandra Jonca of Poland in a pulsating contest.

However, Rajbala (54kg) had to settle for the bronze after losing out to another Polish pugilist Kaluza Beata in her semifinal bout.(ANI)
