Indian team leaves for blind cricket World Cup

New Delhi:  Sports Minister Sarabananda Sonowal felicitated the Indian men's blind cricket team, which left from here Monday night to South Africa to participate in the One-Day International (ODI) World Cup from Nov 27 to Dec 9.

The 17-member squad led by Shekar Naik will take part in the quadrennial seven-nation 40-over tournament. Other participating nations are Australia, England, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and South Africa.
