New Delhi: Peter handscomb and Shaun Marsh batted out of their skin to take Australia to safety with 124 run stand. Handscomb made a solid 68 off 193 deliveries while Shaun Marsh was equally resolute in his 53 out of 197 deliveries.

India started the final day on high by picking two wickets of Steve Smith and Matt Renshaw but Handscomb and Marsh gritty performance helped Australia stay level in the series.

Ravindra Jadeja Clinched 4 wickets in the second innings, while ace Indian spinner R Ashwin looked off colour as he could only pick 1 wicket.

With the Ranchi test ending in stalemate all eyes will now turn to Dharamshala were these two teams will battle it out for the series decider on March 25th.
