New Delhi: India were pushed to the wall by the mighty Australia as they registered a mammoth 326-run lead to make things extremely difficult for Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s men. On the fourth day of the third Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Monday, Steven Smith & Co ensured that the pressure was back on the opponents.




1:32PM: It's stumps. Australia are at 261-7, lead is of 326 runs.


1:00PM: Half-century for Shaun Marsh


12:59PM:  300-run lead for Australia.


12: 55PM: Shami bowls a bouncer to Johnson and he finds a man at the mid-wicket. HE IS OUT. Rahane catches him. Australia 234-7; lead is now of 299 runs.

12:33PM: Shaun Marsh is going strong.


Brad Haddin is OUT.


11:24AM: Joe Burns is caught by Dhoni bowled by Sharma for 9. Australia 176-5.


11:00am: It's Tea time!


10:39AM: Chris Rogers is bowled by R Ashwin for 69.


10:05AM: Steven Smith is OUT. He's gone for 14. He is caught by Rahane at leg-slip off Umesh. Australia 135-3.


9:35AM: Another half-century for Chris Rogers. This is his second fifty in the game.


9:30 AM: We have an early day tomorrow. The match to start at 10:06 local time, if there's no further delays. So, if you are in a mood to catch live action, give up on your blanket times, wake up and switch on the TV at 4:30am IST.


9:27AM: It's 100 up for Australia...


9:18AM: A big wicket this. Shane Watson is gone for 17. Finally, a wicket for Ishant Sharma. He is caught behind by Dhoni. Australia 98-2


9:10AM: Action begins... Shami to Watson...


8:55AM: Match is likely to start in another 10 minutes.


8:46AM: Rain is playing hide and seek again. After little respite, it has started drizzling again!


8:14AM: Rain reigns in Melbourne. Covers are on at the moment.

7:41: Covers are on. Inclement weather delays day's play.


7:00AM: It's lunch. Australia 90-1. The lead is now of 155 runs.

6:30AM: David Warner is OUT. He is trapped LBW by Ravichandran Ashwin for 40. Australia 57-1


6:25AM: Warner couldn't take the field due to injury, but he is batting in great style.


6:19AM: 50 comes up for Australia.


6:00 AM: Eight overs gone, Australia 45-0.


5:50AM: The lead is now of 100 runs. Misery continues for India.


5:40AM: Rogers and Warner duo on a mission to extend Australia's lead.


5:20AM: Australia begin second innings with David Warner and Chris Rogers walking in to bat.


India just managed to add 2 runs and lost the last 2 wickets. Australian tail-enders can. But Indians cant!


5:15AM: India are all out for 465. Mohammad Shami falls for 12, off Johnson. Australia take a 65-run lead in the first innings


5:04AM: Starting the day at 462-8, India lose Umesh Yadav in the second ball of the day. Johnson strikes hard, as India reach 462-9.
