New Delhi: Sri Lanka put up a gutsy performance to hand India their first defeat in the ICC Champions Trophy in 8 years. Kusal Mendis and Angelo Mathews heroics helped Sri Lanka gun down mammoth total of 322 runs at the Oval on Thursday. While, the entire Indian cricketing fraternity was left disappointed with the result, absconding Indian businessman Vijay Mallya seemed to have enjoyed his day from the stands of Oval, just like the previous game. In an exclusive interview to ABP News, Vijay Mallya said, “I’m enjoying the matches but the result did not go our way today.” On being asked whether he plans to return back to India, the 61-year-old businessman countered saying, “Is this want you want to know? Is that a question to be asked? Have you come here to watch the game or ask me whether I want to return back to India?” Earlier, Mallya was spotted during high-voltage encounter between India and Pakistan at Edgbaston on Sunday. He was also spotted with legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, pictures of which went viral on social media.
