Vinod Khanna: 70-years-old veteran actor passed away on April 27 due to longterm illness. He worked in films such as  Zameer, Amar Akbar Anthony and Muqaddar Ka Sikandar. In 1997 Khanna was a sitting parliamentarian from Punjab’s Gurdaspur. He was Osho follower and left his film career then again came back to the films.

He was cremated with State honours and Tricolour was wrapped around his body. He was featured in iconic films with Amitabh Bachchan such as 'Deewaar', 'Kabhi Kabhie' and 'Namak Halaal'.
