WHAT: Abhishek Bachchan becomes Guinness World Record holder BEATING Will Smith!

New Delhi: It seems like all the Bachchans have it in themselves. This time for a change, it's junior Bachchan - Abhishek - who's made history. Abhishek has become a Guinness World Record Holder for 'Most Public Appearances Made By A Film Star In 12 Hours.' The early occupant of this record was Hollywood actor Will Smith who had made three public appearances in 2 hours during the film promotions of 'I, Robot' in 2004. Abhishek, covering 7 venues in a span of 12 hours during the promotions of 'Delhi 6', broke Smith's record. It's worth noting that he travelled around 1,800 km, mostly by private jet and car, to make it possible and covered 7 citites - Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Mumbai - on February 22nd, 2009. Guinness Book of World Record is the world's most prestigious reference book which lists world and national records annually. Alas! Abhishek Bachchan has finally made it big somewhere!
