WATCH Trailer of Rajkummar Rao's next 'Newton'

New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar heaped praise on Rajkummar Rao, one of the most talented and versatile actors of this age, after watching the trailer of his upcoming Bollywood film 'Newton'. The ace director took to his Twitter handle and appreciated the work of 'trapped' star and wrote, "Such a good trailer! And what a super talent @RajkummarRao is....." After winning the Jury Prize for Best Film at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, the trailer of 'Newton' was released Tuesday. The political black-comedy revolves around a clerk placed on election duty in a conflict-ridden area of Chhattisgarh and depicts the journey of Newton Kumar, a rookie government clerk on election duty to a Naxal-controlled town in the conflict-ridden jungles of Chhattisgarh. Check out the trailer: The movie is Amit Masurkar's second film after 'Sulemani Keeda' in 2014. The film had its world premiere at Berlinale, won the Art Cinema award for the Forum section there and also went to 16th Annual Tribeca Film Festival.
