WATCH: Sanjay Dutt's bodyguards beat up media persons in Agra, actor apologises

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt on Thursday apologised to media persons who were allegedly assaulted by his bodyguards on Thursday in Agra. The alleged attack took place on the city's VIP Road leading to Taj Mahal, near Kalakriti, when the shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Bhoomi’ was going on and was causing traffic jam. Five media persons suffered serious injuries. The media persons later staged a protest prompting Dutt to intervene and apologise for the manhandling. Ajay Kumar, a media person, said that “I was beaten up with sticks by Sanjay Dutt’s security men. I suffered injuries on my chest and head. No case has been registered so far. Meanwhile, talking to reporters at a press conference this afternoon,  Dutt said." I wasn't present at the spot where the incident happened. I was in the hotel an hour before. If I would have been there, it wouldn't have happened in the first place. If you are enraged I am willing to give you jaadu ki jhappi. Agra has given us a lot of love."
