Vivek Oberoi's role in new web series inspired by Lalit Modi?

Mumbai: Actor Vivek Oberoi's character in his debut web series is reportedly inspired by former Indian Premiere League (IPL) chairman Lalit Modi. "Bangistan" director Karan Anshuman's 12-part web series, titled "vivek-oberoiii.jpgPower Play" is based on cricket tournament Indian Premiere League (IPL) and the controversy surrounding it in the recent years. Starring Vivek, Richa Chadda, Angad Bedi, Gulshan Devaiah, the web series is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment. According to sources close to 40-year-old Vivek, his character is inspired by the former tainted cricket administrator. No official confirmation regarding it has come from the makers yet. Gulshan will play a cricketer with grey shades. The web series is being shot in Mumbai and it might go on air by the end of this year.
