Sumeet Vyas all set to romance Kareena Kapoor in 'Veerey Di Wedding'

NEW DELHI: Kareena Kapoor Khan is excited to begin shooting for her first film post- pregnancy 'Veerey Di Wedding'. She is sweating it out in the gym to gain the shape required by her character. The chick flick which also stars Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar has zeroed in on digital star Sumeet Vyas as its male lead. Rhea Kapoor production which will be helmed by Shashanka Ghosh will have Sumeet romancing Bebo. Sumeet who shot to fame with TVF web series 'Permanent Roommates' confirmed the news saying that after he has signed the film, his sister is being extra-nice to him. While talking to Mumbai Mirror, the actor said, "My mileage with my family has shot up too because they are all big fans of Kareena. It's hard to contain all the excitement". Talking about the male protagonist, Kareena said that she will be meeting Summet duirng the first narration of the movie. "It is going to be quite a chic flick, with everyone trying to make it to my wedding. It's a stylish and fun journey. Rhea's got a solid plan. I'll meet Sumeet soon and everyone's excited about starting shoot," said the new mommy of Bollywood. Sumeet says that his role is not insignificant but a meaty one. "My character brings a sense of humour to the plot. Shashanka made it clear that it wasn't just a male part thrown into the picture. He wanted a solid actor on board. But I'm not being delusional, I know it's a film about four girls with a mind-blowing script!" he says. Sumeet was also showered with appreciation for his role in critically acclaimed film 'Parched'. Meanwhile, the actor is currently going through a rough patch in his personal life because of divorce with wife Shivani Tanksale. He was also seen in Colors TV show 'Comedy Nights Bachao'.
