'Star Wars: Episode VII' idea was pitched to Mark Hamill in '80s

Washington: Mark Hamill 's 1983 interview has revealed that 'Star Wars' creator George Lucas had pitched the idea of ' Star Wars: Episode VII' to him in the '80s.

 

 

 

According to the Verge, the interview that recently got surfaced online, Hamill revealed that Lucas once asked him, if he would consider playing an Obi-Wan-like character, handing Excalibur down to the next generation and the sequel wouldn't be made until roughly 2011.

 

Hamill had then replied that as much as he would like to have a job lined up at the turn of the century well but he was not sure.

 

The 63-year-old actor will now be seen in the latest franchise of the space opera.
